I have a small non-descript Chinese made stainless folder that I think we found in a planter in a downtown area of all places. Its on a lanyard in my tank bag.
I always carry a Leatherman. The sometimes snide comments about "fanny pack" or "utility belt" stop when someone needs a tool, or fire, or...you get the idea.
And while it isn't a "pocket knife", when I go camping, I have an Ontario machete which can chop wood, dig holes, or whatever.
