How old have your past bikes been?
13 years is a long time. Getting on to the point where a vehicle has to be considered a classic to support an aftermarket. (e.g. 60s Ford Mustangs, etc.) Given that it was an entry level bike to begin with, there probably isn't a lot of money to be made in continuing to provide parts and accessories specifically for it.
