So, I walk in to my local Cycle Gear just to try on suits as they have them in stock. The ONLY suit they had within 5 sizes of me happened to be the one I thought would fit. And I was right! Mostly...
Alpinestars Motegi in size 48 Euro sizing (yes, I'm a little guy) Fit was near perfect, only being slightly tight in the forearms and biceps, more snug than strangling.
Only issue... I couldn't zip the leg bottoms. At all. Too many years on a bicycle doing 60-80 miles a day 6 days a week have apparently gifted me with monstrous T-Rex calves. They are seriously a full 2 inches too big for the suit.
So, the question is this: is there an off the shelf suit with more loose fitting calves? Or am I looking at a custom suit? If so, is there anywhere I can get one in the under $900 range?
