Yeah, supersport racing classes aren't allowed to modify the airbox. Maybe that's a good thing for the 400... to choke it off and let other older bikes still be a little competitive with it.
I hated the 400 when it came out, just messing up all the race classes. I was getting pissed off that the makers can't standardize on a class like 600 and 1000. But outside of that there's no denying that it's a nice bike.
