Scrambler Tires on a pregen?

So If I found a cheap pregen with no plastics on it (pretty easy this time of year) and wanted to make a scrambler out of it with some mild off road capability.

What are my tire options?

I'm looking around and found a Bridgestone Trail Wing TW40 in 120/90-16 and it is listed as a front and rear tire for the NX250. It should work for a rear correct? But I would think it is too wide for the front.

edit to add, thinking now of these:

Front: http://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tube...otorcycle-tire

Rear: http://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tube...otorcycle-tire

or

Thoughts?
