I'm about to turn 17, and I can BARELY hear 21 khz and I work in a machine shop (for 8-9 years now.
) I'm sure my dad can hear the 60 year old one, but no lower. He's been working in a shop since he was... 15 I think. That's nearly 32 years of "BARuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!!! SQUEEEEAKKK!!!!!! BARUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMM!!! SQUEAKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!"
I'm sure my hearing used to be a LOT BETTER. But when I can hear something, I have really sensitive hearing.
