I had a bad experience with the pain meds back in 2008. I was trying to pass another 8mm stone and the doctor gave me a bottle of 300 percocets, yes 300! Needless to say I got hooked on those ****ers and was popping them like candy for a month straight
. Well when the stone finally passed and I ran out of the pills I went through a full week of withdrawl hell. Full on fetal position, shakes, sweats, full body muscle aches. Felt like the flu x 20. That experience made me never want to be on that amount of pain killer ever again. I never thought I would be one of those people you hear about getting hooked on that **** due to a surgery, illness, etc. Just goes to show that it can happen to pretty much anyone once the chemicals take over the brain.
