Dark plugs could just be from starting it up and stopping it quickly without riding to a full warm-up. On those, I just rub some sandpaper in the spark-plug gap to rub off the carbon.
As for not starting, usual test:
- air
- fuel
- spark
Do you have all three?

Damnit! I tossed em dude. How do I test for air? I'm sure im getting gas, I'll get two new plugs lol, I messed with the air box to get to the carbs it all seemed hooked up maybe the filters filthy? Didn't seem too bad.. but I'll check
