If you were to ever change your colors, it'd be a 30 second fix to update the logo
The way I have it setup, to accomplish the offsetting gradient look, unless you can "fill" with a transparent "color" (which you can't), it's impossible to make it truly transparent without altering the design.
Anyway, I blended it into the current forum color right above ya, so it's as good as transparent.
