I was working on a draft with him before he left earlier today. Be forewarned, it's a doozy of a tl;dr.
I'll be trying to break it up to make the interesting bits easy to find, but the whole story is hilariously complicated. I believe the first section is called something along the lines of "things that went wrong before the trip even started" :P
