I carry a green canvas bag that is pretty similar to that one. Not on the bike, just 'around' sometimes.
On the bike, I end up using my Adidas soccer backpack. It has a clip inside for my house keys, good water resistant liner and a flannel lined outer zip-pocket for sunglasses or my phone.
