I had no problems with it on my S5 I used google for the voice commands instead of s voice . Hit the button, say ok google, text XXX: message.
I had to set what happens when you hit the sena button though.
The nexus 6 is way easier, since everything is already google. Now I just have to learn the commands for my 20S
