This is the summer riding season.. lots of charity rides on the roads.. few years back I've heard a charity ride participant that got hit in the head by a golf ball riding next to a golf course, knocked out a few teeth, fell unconscious by the time rider hit pavement and killed.
That's the danger of getting hit by objects while on bicycle.. depending on the direction and speed of the object that's making the impact; consequences can be fatal.. and kid who toss objects from cars do not realize that danger.
