As for using kill switch, my belief is that even if using it daily SOMEHOW causes it to not work when I need it to, I still have my key/kickstand to use and kill the engine. I'm not the least bit worried...

Er....I think the issue with a bad killswitch is that it doesn't start when you need the bike to, not that it doesn't stop when you want it to!
