Ebay is your friend. You will probably spend $150+.
You can "fix" the tank. I had the same problem. I used JB weld to install a long stainless steel screw and cut the head off to make a stud.
I then use stainless steel acorn nuts to hold the fairing on.
It may not work forever, but you can just repeat if it ever fails.
