You don't need high octane fuel for storage, but if that's all you can get without ethanol it would be the best choice. Gas without ethanol still goes bad from sitting, just not as quickly.
As adouglas noted, add the stabilizer and ride a bit to make sure the stabilized fuel gets into the injectors since your bike is F.I.
Changing the oil and filter before storing is better than after.
Do any maintenance now so you can just hop on and go (after checking the oil , tire pressure, etc) when it's riding weather again.
Never start the bike up during storage to "warm it up". It only contaminates your clean oil with water, acids, and unburned fuel.
Doing something to keep the battery from going flat is a good idea also.
