2016 300 questions

So I just picked up a baby of a 300 for the wife. 2016 ABS with 300 miles.

I rode it around the neighborhood and she's put a few miles on it, when it hit me. I've never had a new vehicle ever. Although I guess my 250 qualifies since it had 1200 miles. But it was also 10 years old when I got it.

Soooo. Are there any recalls or things to tighten down on these bikes? It almost seems like the throttle has too much play before engagement and the clutch seems to lag a bit. But I'm also used to my 6r with precision everything. Well everything but the rider

Also no idea how they were breaking it in, but it definitely had an oil change at 100 miles. I was thinking about having her keep rpms below 5k until she hits 400miles and then bump it up to 6-7k for a few hundred miles. However the nubs on the pegs are ground down so apparently it was ridden and not babied the first 300 miles. So not sure how to approach this just yet.
