Amazing how "technology" hasn't progressed in over 30 years, except to be able to drill deeper, still with no safety considerations. And don't forget Halliburton, whose faulty cementing of the well casing contributed to that one too, as well as the well in Australia that leaked years ago. Way to go, Cheney and your cronies. It all comes down to anything for a buck, cut corners when you can to make more money, don't care about the consequences. It's time for someone to bear the blame and spend time in jail and forefit their ill-gotten fortunes to pay for the cleanup and lost livelihood of "the small people" - that may give the CEO's a little lesson that they can't continue this way.
