I have owned and ridden lots of bikes. Kick stand switches are for novice riders.
Too many safety interlocks can get you killed in traffic. Like your switch failing while riding in traffic.
Too bad Kawasaki did not ditch the kickstand switch and put a gas gauge on the pregens.
