Thanks for all you replies. Pretty much where things stand right now, is that the bike has to be fixed at the dealership, so no going anywhere else. The payout will go to the financing company so no buying anything used. The dealership said they'd be willing to work with me to see if they can make the bike safely ridable without being pretty for less than $4000. Or they've got an "08 Ninja 650 model that I can pick up pretty cheap, but would have to refinance. *Sigh* I had a dream last night about riding... I miss my bike
