I would recommend that you add some fuel cleaner to the tank. I like Seafoam... it sometimes works wonders in cleaning up gunked up jets w/o having to open the carbs up.

I would also call the shop to confirm that the valves were indeed adjusted. At your mileage, you are due, if it's not been done and there have been cases of improper idling when warm due to out of spec valves. If you can confirm they were done (paper records would be great, if they will give you a copy), then you can cross valves off the possible causes of your problem.

A good, strong, fully charged battery is always a plus when having starting problems. How old is the battery? make sure the battery terminal connections are tight, too.
