well i think i goof'd haha
today i tried to start it without giving it gas aka not touching the accelerator and it started up fine after driving it.
then i thought hmm maybe i'm not supposed to touch the accelerator when first trying to turn it on. kept trying this new found method and the bike starts up every time lol
so i think the only problem was 1st time bike user error
but i did buy from b-12 and sprayed it in the gas tank
adjusted the idle today to 1500 and it runs great
and i bought the battery charger so i guess some good came out of this
