Hijack:
When I'm on my bike I think about riding, and that's about it.
No music, no clocks, no distractions.... just the road, the wind and the song of 9,000 rpm....
Not only is it safer (I'm paying more attention to the task at hand), it's also more relaxing.
I ride in part to get away from the tyranny of time.
Now... on topic:
What this means in practice is that I leave enough time to get where I'm going. Knowing I'm late while I'm riding won't get me there any faster. Therefore I do not have, want or need a dashboard clock.
