Got power wired to the bike fer dat. Battery Tender harness goes to the tail (permanent). Plug-in USB power adapter, which gets attached only when I'll be using the phone. 10-foot USB-Lightning cable (also permanently mounted) goes from the tail up to the front of the bike. End has a waterproof cap and gets tucked out of the way.

I could have gotten fancy and done a switched power thing, but I use it so seldom it wasn't worth the trouble.

I rarely use GPS at all... it atrophies your brain. The only time is when I'm trying to get somewhere specific and I haven't a clue how to do it.
