you know i was on the other end of this (in my car, stopped at a stop sign, waiting to turn) and witnessed a fellow biker do this. I have to admit, i was more aware of the biker with him doing so.
I will consider doing this but as tapdiggy mentioned, it can become rather dangerous in certain intersections.
