No way to do a range in the way your asking. If you choose Advanced Search, you can sort things in different directions, either ascending or descending, to help take results closer to the time frame you're looking for (when you start from beginning or start from 1 year).

I don't think the google filters would help much, as all it can tell you is what the specific page looked like at that time; it doesn't have the context to know that the post or thread was made at a certain time.
