[motorcycle.com] - Energica Unveils Final Version Of Eva Electric Streetfighter

At EICMA 2015, Energica Motor Company, best known for its Ego electric sportbike, unveiled the final version of its electric streetfighter, the Eva.

The Eva is powered by an oil-cooled permanent magnet AC motor Energica says makes 95 hp and 170 Nm of torque (125 lb-ft). The company also claims range figures of up to 200 km (124 miles) in Eco mode, and a top speed of 124 mph in Sport mode. Like the Ego, the Eva shares the same Vehicle Control Unit that monitors the vehicle’s battery, inverter, charger and ABS.

Acceleration is regulated by a ride-by-wire system, with deceleration aided by a regenerative braking system. The Eva also has an unusual coasting feature that mimics a neutral position between acceleration and regen.

The Energica Eva will be available come 2016 in two colors: Electric Green and Dark Blue (which looks like black in the photos below).
