Who says it won't fit? That's what they said about 300 & 500 swaps as well and plenty of people have done those.

All you need is:

- donor motor
- floor-jack to lift engine up into position
- ruler
- measure connection points for engine-mount
- cut & weld as necessary for engine-mounts
- install engine
- install 650R harness and all electronics
- voila! Done!!!

BTW, 650R engine weighs something like 145-lbs. You'd end up with bike with wet-weight in 450-lbs range, or about same as 650R.
