On pre-gen, mid-range increases with both 2-1 exhaust & DB-killer.
On my new-gen, I already had 2-1 exhaust for more mid-range. Adding el-cheapo exhaust improved high-end as it eliminated restriction of factory muffler+catalytic. Adding straight-through DB-killer without closed end really didn’t change anything, noise or pulse-tuning.
I’m going to extend DB-killer with 10cm more perforated tubing with closed end. I think that’s going to be limit of exhaust mods (Tyga exhaust made most difference). Next up would be head-porting and bigger valves.
