The fastest stop you can make on a Ninja 250 will get the rear wheel off the ground slightly. That tells you how much the rear brake is needed in a hard stop. Now if you're on gravel or another slippery surface, the rear brake comes in very handy.

You're spot-on brother. On the first motorcycle ride of my life I ht the front brake on gravel and down went the bike.
