My question is, is there a manual tensioner that would fit my bike and solve the problem. Or do I have no choice but to disassemble the engine to replace the chain. If so can anyone recommend a good guide on just how to do that, and maybe an engine rebuild while I知 in there. I知 hoping to avoid it but I知 confident I can do the work. I致e done my own oil change, valve adjustment, and carb cleaning.

Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
There is a manual tensioner that you can get, but it will not help you if the cam chain has stretched.

If the tensioner rocker is at the extent of it's travel the only option you have is to replace the chain.
