I also live in MI and rarely see ATGATT. Cruisers wear half helmets and dress like pirates, sportbikes wear fullface and wear normal clothing. Generally when I'm leaving town (35MPH +) I do ATGATT. Textile jacket, textile pants, leather boots, leather gloves, fullface. If I'm running errands around town and I don't feel like riding my bicycle, I'll just throw on my helmet.
