If you haven't done the Motorcycle Safety Course yet, be sure to do so! They supply the bikes and will even do the leg work to get you your M endorsement on your license if you prepay (and pass!) the road test at the end of the course. Not sure what's available in Boston, but the school I went to in West Boylston was great.
I hope to organize one or more group rides next year, so stay tuned!

No I didn't do the MSC yet but the dealer where I'm buying the bike they do motorcycle course and they will reimburse my money if I do the MSC.
I'm looking forward to do the group rides so keep me posted about that
