CPA=Certified Public Accountant.
It means she can make the big bucks as a real accountant instead of just being a bookkeeper.
I wouldn't put it quite as high as passing a Bar exam or medical boards (although I haven't taken any of them) but it is still a remarkable accomplishment. Especially when you consider she was studying for the CPA exam while dealing with her dogs health problems.
