Thank you to everyone for your suggestions and sorry for the delay, ive been a bit busy. i made a noid light and peak voltage tester. swapped coils/wires/plugs to another bike. everything kept testing good so i decided to get a icm/cdi box. they are like 80 bucks used on ebay so i got an 07 for 20 bucks. attached it using female blade connectors on the box side and single strand 20 gauge wire on the quick disconnect side. i didnt wanna cut the harness. it started right up and ive been riding it for two weeks now trying to see if the problem comes back. it seems to have fixed the problem. on a side note all the safety features (kickstand killing bike/kill switch/etc) still work. some ppl seemed to have problems when swapping boxes. redlines also a bit higher but of course there it doesnt make any more power up that high. i used to two threads below if anyone is interested. thanks again for everyones suggestions.
