I'm running into the same problem. I'm about to move into my new place at Kent and it will be a townhouse but there is a covered parking garage. So im going to pull my bike in sideways and park my car in front of it. I plan on lowering my deductible on comprehensive, and my father is giving me a really good rotor lock. Plus I'll throw a chain around the wheel/ frame and cover the bike when I'm going to be gone for a while. Comprehensive is the best way to protect your investment.
