If it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't.
The Elio offers a lot at a very low price. I wish I could believe that this vehicle will come to the marketplace but unfortunately it looks like another sales job to get investors' money and buyer's deposits and then go belly up without ever delivering a product to buyers.
What Elio claims as far as performance is definitely doable but I don't see how they could make enough money to build the cars and sustain their company. Tesla has been successful but look at the prices of their products.
It just sounds like more DeLorean style snakeoil to me.
