He doesn't say much in his vid description, but there is one hint:
So it started raining during his ride. If it hadn't rained for days prior, the road surface could be very slippy. I definitely wouldn't take a roundabout like that at 30mph if it had only just started raining after days of dry weather.
(shut-up rojo - I know you could take it at 60mph, in the rain after a drought :P )
The only other thing I can think of, is he may have been stiff on the bars or jerky on the throttle.

Looking at the ground it looks like they used the oily asphalt that's slick even when dry.
