I had guys on my endurance team that were up to 230 lbs and we didn't have an issue with dragging the pegs. Our aftermarket rearsets were nothing unusual as far position goes, so that shouldn't be an issue. My bike was pretty light as far as ninjettes go at around 290 lb. Stock ride height with correct spring rates that took into account the lighter bike weight. I'd say either your spring rates are way light or you need your ass off the seat a lot more in corners. Something ain't right.
