Suggestions on Rear Caliper Hanger Mods for Racing?

Im in the middle of stripping and servicing my bike for the winter break getting ready for 2019, making service mods and repairs.

One of the things I hate most about the Ninja is the rear caliper hanger and the caliper during tire changes. I currently have it safety wired around the swingarm which helps hold it in place a little but doesnt work as well as I would like.

Does anyone have any suggestions or images of mods made to the hanger or swingarm to help retain the hanger during changes? Im pulling the swingarm to replace bearings so there should be some possibilities.

Im thinking make a slightly longer axle block, make about a 8mm slot extending past the current axle slot in the swingarm, and basically bolt the hanger to the axle block.
