I don't know. That's my answer. Theory is shorter exhaust track is better for high rpm power. And longer track is better for torque.

I don't think the air box without the metal fire guard is that bad. Especially for street. Nothing beats open stacks for power. But filters are nessacay. Clean filter is best.

As for the header. I would not bother with the stock pipe. Get
A Yoshamara full system. The pipes are very large. Large diameter pipes will flow better and that is the primary power gain you can get on a stock engine.
