Do it yourself, even if you don't have a buffer a good polish followed by a good wax can work miracles. Observe my 1987 VW Scirocco 16v

However, in these pictures you can see that molded plastic (bumpers and bodykit) does not clean up nearly as well as plastics do, but maybe newer paint is different. This took me about a week to do by hand working about 4 hours a day on it. Worth it!
