No one is saying that one is more accurate than the other. The reason the mechanical adapter exists is because it's easier for people with compatible mechanical pickups. The reason it isn't included with all of them is because not everyone has them and the magnets work with anything. My pregen has no pickup because there is a custom spacer there instead to fit newgen wheels, so I will be using the magnets.
