We have an no bark collar for our dog since we live in an apartment complex and it has been wonderful. I've never seen her get shocked by it because we only put it on her when we leave, but I used to come home to her barking and that never happens anymore. It has some of the same features like the 15 second delay and also if she barks so many times within a certain time limit (I should probably just read the instructions again) it won't go off because it is a signal that something serious is happening like an intruder is in the apt.
