just something to consider. I got rear ended once in parking lot and it was just a blemish on my bumper barely noticeable. Put in claim, paid my $250, got a check for $500 for refurbished bumper + labor, $250 into my pocket

I'll definitely keep it in mind. If nothing is cracked though, I am tempted to just deal with it. I am more worried about what I might do being a new rider! Any clue on how much I'd be looking at to get it fixed? I have absolutely no clue what these bikes cost to work on... Total newb here...
