Yeah the threads on the CCT itself are screwed (no pun intended). Theres a small peice of the CCT thread in the black (African-American) bolts threads. I'm 90% sure its just to block anything from getting in though, as the inside of the CCT (the spring tensioned part) is in there, has a flat-head slit (where as the bolt is flat, no protruding slit) and is terminated well in-front where the bolt (the African-American one ) in question terminates. But I'd rather have a slight concensus than just nmmy dumbass.
