Once you remove the two screws that hold the latch/locking mechanism for the tank you'll see the that you will need to remove the o-ring and brass washer to expose the brash retaining wafer. Pushing that in towards the body of the tumbler and push the tumbler assembly outwards from the gas cap.

Be really careful when removing the tumbler assembly. The wafers can fall out along with the springs. Make sure you remove the gas tank cap from the tank!***
