Once you remove the two screws that hold the latch/locking mechanism for the tank you'll see the that you will need to remove the o-ring and brass washer to expose the brash retaining wafer. Pushing that in towards the body of the tumbler and push the tumbler assembly outwards from the gas cap.

***Be really careful when removing the tumbler assembly. The wafers can fall out along with the springs. Make sure you remove the gas tank cap from the tank!***
