Wow 117 F is too hot to ride in.... I shrivel up like a Raisin in that kind'a heat !
I've ridden in 120 F one time and forgot my sunglasses (no face shield back then)
and got sun blinded.... it dried my eyes so bad that everything turned grey ...lasted about 2 days ! not to mention the sunburn ! and I was only on the road about 1hr !
I did have my jean jacket on at the time and almost took it off and I am real glad I didn't ! I would have had 3rd degree sunburn..... Again ! no fun!
