today I finished with certain details that needed to be done before placing the engine on the bike...
firstly, this is how I shaped the inner side of the 250 side cover to fit on the 300's slipper clutch and leaving it to rotate freely...

and this is how I tapped the "kleen" system...closest possible to the exhaust port for optimum throttle response...

I made and fit a couple of headless bolts...

starter, mechanical tensioner and clutch cover in place...

camshafts' timing 102/105 for intake and exhaust respectively measured with cam chain tensioner in place, top cover on and ready to put on bike by tomorrow hopefully...
