I'm in the process of changing my vacuum hoses on my carburetor.

I know fuel does not flow through the vacuum hoses but they smell like gas...

Do I need to find replacement hoses that are fuel rated?

Auto parts store sells windshield washer/ vacuum multi function hoses, can I use those or should I get a true vacuum hose because of hose collapse under vacuum?


If I don't need fuel rated hose what material should I get, I've seen polyurethane, silicone, and rubber available? Or will all of those work, just my preference?
